I find I am not proficient enough as a musician to belt out what I hear in my head. So fiddling with synths is the best way for me. Mind you, this isn't advice since I never finish anything.

I see you are in LA. That means you work for LA Unified? You have my admiration. I'm glad you were a teacher first, so you are close to the classroom! Keep up the good work.Being a teacher I use to have, basically, June, August and December off. Now that I'm Admin. I get nothing. Im not taking to it all too well.
