Thanks for those.
Very useful. Like them all, especially the Channel Strip - cool that the order of Gate, Compressor, EQ can be changed.

just reconfiguring my (mainly) freeware studio and was looking for an FX suite to keep things in order, so this package couldn't have arrived at a better time for me!
A question: I see no maximizer effect for the master (like Waves UltraMaximizer). Is that something to hope for or can this be done as easily with the suppplied suite as it is?
Thanks a lot for your generosity.

Thanks for this FX bundle! Just had a go with it myself & I, others, really like the Channel strip.
+1 for the mdapiano, it's my favorite.
I jus have 2 wishes for this bundle. On the filter, just to have a resonance knob & maybe a couple of more algorithims for the reverb. other than that, this is superb!!

Thanks for the info and best of luck.swatwork wrote:There's no roadmap as present, other than maintaining the two free bundles I've just released. My priority at the moment is to get them stabilised and working in as many DAWs as possible and possibly expand them a little; I've still one or two extra effects that need to be debugged before they can be released and there's been a couple of requests for the mda Pianos so maybe it'd be nice to add them to the instrument bundle.Omkar wrote:Out of curiosity, Steve, do you have a roadmap where you want to go with it ?

The Dead Duck Effects Bundle has been updated to 1.0.2 and can be downloaded from the KVR product page.
This update is to address issues with SONAR so, as with the previous update, if you're not using SONAR there's no need to update, unless you want to.

There's no dedicated maximiser, or indeed plans to add one. You could try using the limiter (either standalone or in the channel strip) - lower the threshold and/or raise the input level (or output in the channel strip) to 'push' the signal into the limiter.SparkySpark wrote:A question: I see no maximizer effect for the master (like Waves UltraMaximizer). Loving the plugins. Straight forward and easy to use.
btw, why did you discontinue MetaLoop? that was one of my favorite apps on Android.

Well I'm glad somebody liked it.Paree wrote:why did you discontinue MetaLoop? that was one of my favorite apps on Android.
However, the main reason it was discontinued was because, as I don't own an Android tablet anymore, I can't support it and with the various changes in recent Android versions (particularly relating to app permissions) it's likely that certain features don't work on those versions.
If I do get another tablet I'll probably update and relaunch it but I've no plans to do that at the moment.

Well, its still on my Tablet and i jam with it when i'm bored.swatwork wrote:Well I'm glad somebody liked it.Paree wrote:why did you discontinue MetaLoop? that was one of my favorite apps on Android.Even as a freebie it wasn't exactly popular and as most of the reviews were complaints about it not working on phones it didn't seem like that was going to change anytime soon.

Yes, it's normal - the pan control uses a 3 dB pan law so the output of the centre-panned signal will be reduced by that amount. Use the trim knob to boost the output if necessary.kinwie wrote:Did anyone aware that inserting the Utility, dropped the volume -3dB?
A quesion to the dev, Mr. Swatwork,
Is that the the normal behavior of DD utility?
