Actually getting ridiculous now, i think i am going to have to start buying doubles for friends, this is the one developer around right now who has never released anything that is baggage or bloat, and so cheap too ?Compyfox wrote:All of the updates to v2 were free so far - unless a new Deluxe version was introduced.jens wrote:Amazing update - and then it's even free!![]()

Definitely more than generous from the dev...

Funny, I kinda feel that we were honored with Tony's great faith in us - TWICE. why ?
In the very short time I had with IVGI (as an SDRR customer !) I felt that it was a WHOLE NEW PROCESSOR.
Not just a sequel to its predecessor.
IVGI 1 was a ... well... kinda... ummm.... MEH for me (sorry, Tony ...).
IVGI 2 is a LOT more substantial and a very welcome addition/companion to SDRR, not least due to its extreme simplicity : way more easy to dial in pleasing results (SDRR is a lot more complex - and flexible).
SDRR2 is also awesome : it just feels here like an extension to IVGI's awesomeness.
Great plugs.
ALL THE BEST !

Fantastic. Can't wait to try out the new updates. I use my SDRR every mix.
When I spend down time doing 'What haven't I done yet' mixes I'll do stuff like use SDRR for the eq and comp on all tracks with nothing else. There's a lot you can do with this plugin.
Thanks

Very cool update!
Can't wait to check it out
One thing I can think about:
How hard is it to implement 'max quality' automatic when rendering? Very usefull when using lots of plugins

It's not my problem. Where there was one plugin, there are now two. With DC8C there are going to be three. A hassle times three - files, projects, features, tricks, etc. Melda is at version 11. Do we have 11 plugins with 11 IDs for e.g. MEqualizer? Cubase is at version nine. Same thing.murnau wrote:What exactly you find "veeery" funny? It's the best solution to have two IDs now. A plugin should have its own identity. Iterations should add to that identity. Yesterday you were one day younger, today you are one day older. Are there two of you asking me what's my problem?

I feel so weird saying this, but the new oversampling mode actually sounds much better on some things. Particularly heavy washy cymbals on live drums.
It's a rather massive improvement when you're really crushing things hard with SDRR.
Very cool stuff.

Tony you are a very generous man.
SDRR is one of my favorite plugins ever and now I get a free update to it?
Kind of a smart move though, now I feel compelled to buy whatever plugin you release next.
