It’s one of the chief reasons why I haven’t looked at or considered newer Cubase versions (and various other DAWs). The net in my rural area is sadly limited to 384kbit (about 45kb/s) with no change in sight unless I move house. FLS’s now 800 MB are fine with me, but once it exceeds a GB it’ll become a problem for me, especially with the protocol used (BitTorrent would be better for me, but it’s rarely offered by companies).omiroad wrote:Also, I'm currently requesting a Cubase installer that's not 11GB. Scott, for a while there were diff-based patches so that for updates only a smaller file needed to be downloaded. Are you planning to return to that practice? It was appreciated.

FL Studio 20, will (at some point) should be capable of incremental updates.Mivo wrote:Scott, for a while there were diff-based patches so that for updates only a smaller file needed to be downloaded. Are you planning to return to that practice? It was appreciated.
The best place to ask these questions is Looptalk BTW.
