I'd rather see the controls and labels for them if blurry than not see them and have them look crisper.otristan wrote:We can do an UVI Workstation 3 with a resizeable GUI but without any resizable instrument in it that would be far less impressive unfortunately.Numanoid wrote:But we need Uvi Workstation 3 with resizeable GUIotristan wrote:Instrument UIs cannot be resized as it's bitmap based but we do support retina display with @2X assets and text though so it's crispier looking if your machine support it. Some kind of zoom using the @2X assets might be possible but this may look a bit blurry.
When VV1 first came out I received a voucher from UVI to buy Vintage Vault at a hugely discounted price, based upon how many of UVI's products I already owned. They did not ignore the single-product purchasers.DrumAddict wrote:you can be really lucky . as i said within Bargain Thread , people who owns near all of the single products and are loyal customer needs to pay full upgrade price .
you call it great customer service and i call this really ridiculous to their loyal customer .
i needs to apology for the post and words that it looked like a little bit unfriendly .otristan wrote:The upgrade price, crossgrade price and coupon are only computed if the person owns a VV included product OR own VV1 OR own VV1 and at least one new VV2 only included products.
This is basic setup because otherwise there would be so many combinaison that this would be a nightmare to setup.
Our rationale was that if customers think they should get a better price being loyal customer they would contact us and we'll see with them directly. I see how this can be seen unfair but this was the only sane option for us. sorry about that.
By the way, support will not get back to you before tomorrow as we are located in GMT+2 so it's midnight here.
Hope this clarify things.

is there a way to kick in the 2x assets on non-retina displays?otristan wrote:Instrument UIs cannot be resized as it's bitmap based but we do support retina display with @2X assets and text though so it's crispier looking if your machine support it. Mac and PC.
Nop. Because the issue in that case is not only about assets but the whole app that would need to be resized.OneOfManyPauls wrote:is there a way to kick in the 2x assets on non-retina displays?otristan wrote:Instrument UIs cannot be resized as it's bitmap based but we do support retina display with @2X assets and text though so it's crispier looking if your machine support it. It seems you are saying you either use it with the tiny size as they are or upgrade to a retina display (which will likely then keep them at a similar size). So there really isn't a way to increase the size of the GUIs..otristan wrote:Nop. On OSX, you can simulate retina display using app like SwitchResX
On Windows you have to switch to HiDPI mode. Still not all host support it right on Windows.
Same for mequantum7 wrote:I'm only getting an offer for $50 off, making it $150. I own Falcon, Analog Motion, Atmospherics, Digital Synsations Vol. 2, EGP, Ether Fields, Synth Anthology 1&2.....and of course Vintage Vault 1. I would think I'd get a bigger discount.
The only things that really interest me anyway are the PX Apollo, the UVS-3200, the UVX80, and the OB Legacy, and as I mentioned, I already bought Digital Synsations Vol. 2. $150 is probably not worth it for me then considering.
