The upgrade price, crossgrade price and coupon are only computed if the person owns a VV included product OR own VV1 OR own VV1 and at least one new VV2 only included products.

This is basic setup because otherwise there would be so many combinaison that this would be a nightmare to setup.

Our rationale was that if customers think they should get a better price being loyal customer they would contact us and we'll see with them directly. I see how this can be seen unfair but this was the only sane option for us. sorry about that.

By the way, support will not get back to you before tomorrow as we are located in GMT+2 so it's midnight here.

Hope this clarify things.

Relax, nobody here working for UVI as far as I know :D
 Looking at the subsequent mails, you were obviously wrong.

(Btw, just wanted to prevent the typical KvR outbreak /derailing of the thread ... :tu: )

But we need Uvi Workstation 3 with resizeable GUI
We can do an UVI Workstation 3 with a resizeable GUI but without any resizable instrument in it that would be far less impressive unfortunately.
Some kind of zoom using the @2X assets might be possible but this may look a bit blurry.
I'd rather see the controls and labels for them if blurry than not see them and have them look crisper.

Have you considered re-rendering these at different sizes 1.0 1.25 1.5 1.75 2.0x and then have the plugin reload the new image assets? Other bitmap based plugins support various sizes so I know it can be done (look at u-he).

DrumAddict wrote:you can be really lucky . as i said within Bargain Thread , people who owns near all of the single products and are loyal customer needs to pay full upgrade price .

you call it great customer service and i call this really ridiculous to their loyal customer .
When VV1 first came out I received a voucher from UVI to buy Vintage Vault at a hugely discounted price, based upon how many of UVI's products I already owned. They did not ignore the single-product purchasers.

EDIT: Was still on the first page of the thread when I posted the above. I see this has already been covered.

I already had bunch of single VV2 products (BEAT BOX ANTHOLOGY, BEATBOX ANTHOLOGY 2, STRING MACHINES, THE BEAST,VINTAGE LEGENDS) and got the 299 EUR "single product" offer to crossgrade to VV2.

I contacted support and they came back quickly with a discount code that pushed me over the edge into buying. Just staring down the barrel of a few days of downloading all this content now...

By the way, we have an issue that you won't see the right price if you put VV2 in your cart before being logged in.
So in case of crossgrade/upgrade, please make sure that you log in first or remove the product, log in and put back the product.

Thanks !

is there a way to kick in the 2x assets on non-retina displays?

Nop. Because the issue in that case is not only about assets but the whole app that would need to be resized.
On OSX, you can simulate retina display using app like SwitchResX
On Windows you have to switch to HiDPI mode. Still not all host support it right on Windows.

I'm only getting an offer for $50 off, making it $150. I own Falcon, Analog Motion, Atmospherics, Digital Synsations Vol. 2, EGP, Ether Fields, Synth Anthology 1&2.....and of course Vintage Vault 1. I would think I'd get a bigger discount. :(

The only things that really interest me anyway are the PX Apollo, the UVS-3200, the UVX80, and the OB Legacy, and as I mentioned, I already bought Digital Synsations Vol. 2. $150 is probably not worth it for me then considering.

It seems you are saying you either use it with the tiny size as they are or upgrade to a retina display (which will likely then keep them at a similar size). So there really isn't a way to increase the size of the GUIs..

I think that needs to be addressed much more than more new instruments.. making what you have already more accessible.

Great job UVI, OB Legacy is a fantastic library.
Very good work!
