To use as a stereoizer for mono sources, but without affecting the low frequencies, it can work this way:
Use as a send effect. Engage Stereoize on the plug. Put an eq before the Imager to take out low freqs, and follow the Imager plug with Voxengo MSED set to Inline and Mute Mid (that will remove the dry signal). It's totally mono compatible, it will cancel itself out when going mono.
