Yep. I had some pennies left in my account and got it for a token and 23p extra. When I went back to the rewards page a couple hours later Vacuum Pro wasn't listed any longer; it's back up for 99 quid though.
Anyway, I got some really nice sounds out of this synth so far and look forward to messing around some more with it.

Its not that I find Komplete "overwhemling" I'm just not interested in all but a few things from NI, that I mostly already have. Even then, aside from a few things in Reaktor, my interest in their stuff is purely in form of 3rd party products or my own stuff. I have about 1500 plugins and 10 DAW's. While I'm sure both Komplete and AIEP are very nice, I already have alternatives that I prefer, simple as that. :)

Vacuum Pro is by far AIR's best synth IMHO. It's an odd marketing strategy that they should give it away like this, surely the more sensible option would be to give Vacuum Classic away and offer a cheap crossgrade deal to Pro. At this point though, i can make little to no sense of their entire business model!

Slightly off topic, am i the only one here that thinks Cakewalk would make a good addition to InMusic?

Already bought Vacuum Pro at black friday for 1$. I spent a couple of evenings listening to it presets and tweaking sounds. I can say that the Vacuum Pro is simple and cool sounding synth. Really like its workflow and how it sounds

VACUUM PRO i want it :)I haven't bought CM MAGAZINE for years ...kind of overgrow their tutorial but back in 2013-2014 i was fan ...did anybody have cm251 already ...

They surely get a lot of attention and exposure with those odd marketing tactics.

I also think it is a very small company, why else would there be so little development. Probably a lone programming slave in a basement in Bangalore :hihi:

What is the copy-proctection on Vacuum?

I won't complain. :P Their obvious goal is to get some marketshare, which will help for future products. I might get the CM issue, just to try it out.

For 3,99 € for the e-mag, about anything should be worth it. :P
