This is gorgeous.

One thing, though. Are the chimes in the beginning supposed to sound slightly distorted? The distortion isn't strong enough to sound obviously deliberate, but it isn't weak enough to sound obviously accidental.

I probably would just accept the distortion without question if I heard it on a published CD or something. I don't really like it, though. No offense or disrespect intended.

Cheers. Yes, it is deliberate, I turned up the drive on Mr Ray, I reckon I might change it to a bit cleaner though for the final version.

Nice!

The beat feels slightly odd to me. Perhaps its slightly too chunky for the song. That bass drum has alot of power!

Otherwise, another fine Donkey tune

Hehe, that kick is a bit mental, I started out writing it as a cheesy R&B track, then wrote the acoustic guitars and it changed somewhat

....Dunno, I still quite like it with that big beat, have to see how it sounds to me in a few weeks.

There's something about this track I find strangely memorable. It's a keeper! Maybe it's the orchestration and the way it switches between the harder and softer sections.

I could see it as the last song on a downtempo album - the track that sums up the mood of the album and reminds you to listen to the great album all over again.
