I started this thread last week and after 7 days and two pages of really interesting contributions on Studiophonik, jazz, Steeley Dan, keyboardist and various other thoughts, I still haven't heard an answer about a projected release date for Studiophonik. SO......at the risk of being a PITA....what's the ETA?

I think around AES time would be appropriate. We'll see. Fall some time? Maybe sooner? Hard to say. We're just working on it like we've been for the last couple of years. It is getting closer. I am playing sounds from it so... but, when you see these NEW modules like Sonik Synth 2 and Studiophonik and... woops. You will see new levels of quality, detail, organization, authenticity, realism than you normally see. To do that you can't rush. It is tedious to work with say several hundred thousand drum hits. But, that's what it takes to have 100 snares with 11 keys each with up to 8 velocities and mic mixing between direct and room. Oh so worth it when we're done. I am going to celebrate by making some music!
