very funny. Will buy it any way. Other peoples spending thousand of moneys for overpriced VST's and someone who make things like me have not even 106 Euros. Thank you so well Market THANX! You can buy your swimming pool then.
AnX wrote: He is talking about the limitations of having an old demo version
Its prob 3 or 4 years old.
He doesnt have a full licence, he has an old demo version that still allowed vsts to be saved fully functional.
They changed it because ppl were using it to sell vsts.... he is giving it away free, not a problem.
FYI, if you right click the gui in a blank space, it will tell you who SE is registered to, so easy to see it its cracked (which it isnt in this case)
So the demo version required registration ?

Ok I was just questioning what he said. If it was poorly written or improperly explained then I apologize for misunderstanding.

Good grief.  :?   He is using the Synthedit 1.1 32bit demo, which was able to save fully functional VSTs (just with a max. of 16 Presets) without obtaining a license. This version is still free to download.
The new Synthedit 1.3 (available as 64bit) is not able to save fully functional VSTs in demo mode.
You should inform yourself before accuse somebody of using cracked software.

If he is making freeware, there nothing to blame using the old demo version. Chances to get donations are much higher offering a 64bit version though, so investing the money for the licensee of v1.3 is recommendable in this case....

Like I said if people would learn to express themselves properly we wouldn't be having this conversation. I did try to educate myself by going to the S.E. website and looking up the Demo limitations. Sorry if I didn't research the entire history of the platform and every version that's ever been released.

If he's not using a cracked version then I apologize for the accusation.

Anyway my other point stands. If you want your S.E. creation to get any attention now and stand out from the sea of other synths released in the last 15 or so years then you'd do well to at least update it to modern standards.

Really? I dl the 1.1 demo a while back to work on something i started years ago (for personal use only), it came up with the default background :?

Perhaps he just wanted to share his free creation :)

To me some posts were also confusing, maybe a linguistic problem most of all, and of course people here can't be expected to be SE insiders, for whom those things might be obvious. We just read the opening and follow-up posts and wondered...

So, is there an audio demo? I have no idea what the Poly 800 sounded like, was it famous for any specific sounds 8)

Cheers L-Day. Will try it out :)

Why are there suddenly so much 32bit only plugins again ?
Sorry can't test or use it.

If it's a very old demo version, then it's still not a demo limitiation that you can't port to 64-bit vst(i), because back then it was not even possible to port to 64-bit with that full version in the first place.

When you say 64-bit, we think about current versions. Sorry for the confusion, but this was confusing :)

No band limits, aliasing is the noise of freedom!

+1

We need less paranoia, just a "thanks" would be nice.

If! you have ever read it closely then you can read what i have written and there was something about to go on some modern standards or not! ? why those tiny idiots running free on this "i have thought first place to share" community ?

Cheers, l-day

I don't know what you are trying to say, frankly...

Either way, with your anger management problems you can only make free plugins as paying customers would not put up with it

Despite all the negative posts on here, I just want to say this is a decent little synth and I hope to spend some time this weekend making a soundbank for it, many thanks for the hard work and for the share. :tu:

Maybe it was up to v1.09, and v1.1 started with the higher limitations. Don't remember exactly.

It's a limitation of the new SE 64bit demo

Yes, the explanation was a little confusing. But without understanding, one shouldn't directly accuse someone else using warez.
