Given that it has multiple grains, I'm surprised there is no spread to spread out the positions of the grains from each other. Maybe that is somewhat accomplished by the rand for the position? Or maybe they stay together, who knows. But would definitely like to see the grains be able to spread out like in Falcon and Padshop/Halion.

Exactly what I think! No idea what's so complicated and hard with granular synthesis. Sit down, take you time, get a good coffee and you'll learn how to use granular synthesis in no time, it's really not that hard nor quantum physics come on.

Good chance it’s dynamic voicing, we will find out soon.

What's up with the hype about Richard Devine's presets spreaded in all synth presets? They most of the time sound just like a huge pile of inaudible noises & bips, I don't get it.

Preset makers got to make money too.

Got that for sure, nothing against the idea of course but I just don't understand why every plugin developers call Richard Devine for their presets. There's obviously a hype around the guy I don't get

Maybe he is considered as a fresh breath. I think it is great when a synth has some factory presets that goes a little further than all the usual "bread and butter" sounds.
Often the more far out presets are the ones that gives me the urge to tweak them into something I like.
Sound C loud
Band C amp
Clicks and pops is all I get

Audio Damage are killing it now since they are back doing plugins.

Instant buy from me...

Anyone could enlighten the benefit of this plugin compared to Padshop Pro (which i can get for 10 $).

I like Padshop because the sounds are very usable which I cannot say with my limited experience with other granual synths like reaktor Grain Cloud. It may be a simple matter of using good samples. But the sounds in Padshop are instantly usable for me which i cannot say of the sounds of Grain Cloud.
Padshop (part of Cubase) doesn't show up in Ableton though. This is why I would upgrade to Padshop Pro. Padshop Pro also allows importing your own samples.

Unless someone would say: no wait it out and go for Quanta instead.

Are there sound demos yet. Nice talking but how does it sound?
..."with the zero taken off on iOS" So 7.99 against 79.99....not sure if i like that.
But MPE is always nice to have.
Edit: Seems at least a few different things iOS vs. mac/windows like 10 voices for desktop and just 6 for iOS (i guess more to fit the price tag on desktop since i doubt an iPad pro couldn´t run it).

Wouldn't really call this an audio demo since the audio wasn't patched in directly and it's clipped to shit but you can at least see the features:

If It's Dynamic voices allocation, I would expect this. It's what I'm wondering myself.
