To me it looks like a headache to use but now I've tried it it's a load of fun a must have for bit crushing or anyone that likes fun plugins with big knobs.

What is that upgrade price for? From a single plugin?W23 wrote: Mon Dec 23, 2019 8:53 pm Just saw this for $79 at Plugin Boutique. Tempting, but I’m struggling with a 48 hour upgrade sale for Softube vol 3 for $299. That’s a lot of money, but Vol 3 is a lot of plugins

Yeah. I bought Heartbeat on sale over 2 years ago. I never had an offer for Vol 2 or Vol 3 that low before. It’s tempting, but I’m not sure how badly I need yet-another-compressor, or a synth even
EDIT: was actually $244.50 for the upgrade. I got it. Whom am I kidding?

Best price I have seen…as I have other Softube stuff it was discounted to 40 bucks for me so I pulled the trigger, it’s pretty interesting and I am enjoying exploring, seems capable of subtle stuff, not just destroying things!
X32 and 24C mixers, S88MK3, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6, Pro3, S4, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone, OP1-F, OPXY, TR-1000, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

Interesting, where did you see that offer?SLiC wrote: Sat Feb 07, 2026 9:41 pmBest price I have seen…as I have other Softube stuff it was discounted to 40 bucks for me so I pulled the trigger, it’s pretty interesting and I am enjoying exploring, seems capable of subtle stuff, not just destroying things!
I also have lots of their stuff, but no 40 bucks offer for me, it seems.

I wish they'd do a decent port of the Bam reverb, that thing is so good.. I like the Biscuit plug-in, but I came to it after some familiarity with the box and they sound alike, but not the same and there was something pretty darn nice and crispy about the bit-depth reduction with the box that you don't quite get with the plug-in imo..

I guess it depends what you own- you need to be logged on (maybe put it in your basket?)interruptor wrote: Sun Feb 08, 2026 2:42 amInteresting, where did you see that offer?SLiC wrote: Sat Feb 07, 2026 9:41 pmBest price I have seen…as I have other Softube stuff it was discounted to 40 bucks for me so I pulled the trigger, it’s pretty interesting and I am enjoying exploring, seems capable of subtle stuff, not just destroying things!

Thanks, that clarifies it. Your screenshot shows a lower standard price of 165.83 for you, most likely because of specific other stuff you own (and I don’t).
