Hmm, actually I have never been to Britain, so this excuse seems as good as any. How is the weather in Yorkshire?

Great job in terms of the volume dynamics throughout. I liked the mix, it was smooth and assured which showed off the great songwriting. The vocal melodies were top-drawer, right up there with 'Last' from back in the day.

Good work :)

This works seriously well...

Good, well structured song performed with musicality, energy, passion and vibe!

Loved the open, warm, spacious, natural production as well.

Thanks, one of those vocal sessions where I felt a bit dizzy and had to lie down afterwards. Must be me age..

Thanks. For this one I actually had a bit of a plan in advance as to what I wanted it to sound like (rather than throwing a load of shite at it and seeing what sticks) which appears to have paid off - keep it simple and let the vocal do a lot of the work. Still pruned quite a lot though- mellotron strings and acoustic guitars come in much later now than in earlier versions, and the main guitar part stays at the minimal level for a lot longer than it did. There was also a hideous 'rockout' end section where I tried to emulate The Stooges :scared: . Thankfully good sense for once prevailed and I cut it. :hihi:

Great voice (soul Nick Drake ?) and solid composition. I really enjoyed it.
