I just release version 1.5.3 where the vst3 state should be loaded correctly if in Reaper's settings "Parameter automation notifications" is set to "Process all notifications". The response plot calculation was also improved which hopefully fixes the issue bk was seeing.

Thanks.

Finally the VST 3 version remembers the settings on Reaper! :D
Thanks dude.

Hey, thanks for the update!
Unfortunately, I have to report that the graph weirdness is still there. :(
It looks like the crazy weirdness between 20-30Hz is gone, but the double peak is still there throughout the spectrum.
Tried vst3 and vst2 x64. Same result with both.

@heaveymetalmixer: are you seeing the graphic weirdness as well? I note we're both on Reaper x64...

Post

No drawing weirdness over here. REAPER 5.979 x64 / Win10 Pro / GTX 970. Tried all bands and GUI sizes with varying Q sizes and frequencies.

No, I don't have that bug. What your PC specs?

When does the spike appear and is the distance between spike and band maximum constant? For example the spike could always be there but not visible with wider Q-factors as the response hasn't fallen enough at the spikes position. Also, how often do you see the spike?

Could you create a short gif video with licecap (https://www.cockos.com/licecap/) where the spike is visible? I attached an example to this post.

The spike seems to be there all the time, but is not visible with low Q.
The apparent peak of the filter shows lower than the selected frequency, and the spike is above the selected freq.
Attached is an example: I started at 1K, but the peak of the bell appears to be lower than 1K, with the spike just above 1K. Spike is there with boosts and cuts, both.

I'm on Win7 X64, Reaper 5.978
Radeon HD5450. Driver is up to date.
Thanks for looking into this!

Thanks for the gif, I was able to fix the spike. This only occurs when working with a samplerate other than 44100 Hz (according to the spike's position you're working with 48k).

The spike is actually correct while the curve itself is too low as the samplerate for calculating the response isn't update. Can't give a date for the update as I'm hoping to also add an analyser with the update. Probably somewhere between two to four weeks.

Awesome! Thank you!
Looking forward to the next update. :)

Surprisingly, implementing the analyser went more smoothly than expected. Version 1.5.4 is now released, the analyser can be activated via the menu shown after right-clicking on the frequency plot display.

The download is available on the kvr page as usual.

Nice! Spike is gone.
Analyser is a nice touch. Thanks so much!
