Ah yes. The presets are available only in VST2 version.
Looks like there are issues with the platform we use to build plugins and VST3 presets =( Not sure yet if fixable.

On my Mac, the demo version included presets. On my Windows machine the demo did not include the presets. When I bought the full version (easy decision because it sounds really, really good) on Windows the presets showed up. Presets are really strong in this release, by the way.SLiC wrote: Quick question - On some of the screen shots and from some of the comments it looks like there are 'presets', but I cant find anything on my version (nothing on the top bar) is their supposed to be?

I had the demo version first, then installed the full version before I uninstalled the demo....I am not seeing presets in VST2 or 3....I tried a reinstall after deleting the demo. Any other ideas?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I saw presets in Reaper. They'll be DAW presets - not specific SS-11X ones.
I just posted but I don't see it - so apologies if there is a duplicate
I tried the demo for 10 minutes and just bought it.
I like the clean channel a lot - esp with gain all the way up.
It sounds great running in to the ReAxis power amp (with EL34 tubes for me)
Crunch and Lead channels are good too - and nice simple controls.
Great job (again) guys!

Hmm, I see.
First thought is to delete everything and check system for any SS-11X leftovers. Then install from scratch.
If you happen to lose an activation, no worries. We can add more on request.
If above does not help, we'll need to investigate. Best is to send a support ticket through http://www.mercuriall.com, so we can track it.

In this video at around 1:55 Ola mentions that it is possible to load your own impulse responses for the cabinet section:klinge wrote:A question: is it not possible to disable the cabinet IRs but still use the reverb IR? I tried this but the result was no sound at all coming out of the plugin.
So if you want to disable the cabinet section completely as a workaround you should load a so called dirac impulse for the cabinet section. That's a response where only the first sample has a value of 1 and all other samples after that are zero. Because everything after the first sample is zero anyway you should search for a very short response. The ideal one would consist solely of the first sample with a value of 1.

Thanks, that sounds like good guick-fix! I found some dirac impulses in a zip file at http://www.noisetime.com/impulsecreation.html. Will try these out when I get home from work.BlitBit wrote:klinge wrote: So if you want to disable the cabinet section completely as a workaround you should load a so called dirac impulse for the cabinet section. Hmm, tried it out now. It worked - but the impulses I found seem to lower the output volume of the plugin. Mildly annoying. I tried searching the internet for 1-sample dirac files but after visiting a large amount of pages I still have not found anything better. Does anyone know where these can be found??klinge wrote: Thu Sep 27, 2018 7:41 am Thanks, that sounds like good guick-fix! Hopefully someone can answer this before the sale ends in a couple of hours, but what is their copy protection? I like to practice guitar on my laptop and record on my desktop rig. Is there any restrictions on installing it on multiple computers if I am the only user?
