(With regards to my rant earlier up the page, I've now found it impossible to post my remixes of famous tracks on SC, yet I regularly see other SC users able to get their similar bootleg remixes up there. I won't bore you with my arguments for/against bootleg remixes.
No such trouble on Youtube, so I'm heading over there instead to post my bootleg remixes from now on).

yeah, it wouldn't be so bad if the "rules" applied to everyone.
i think all platforms have their own issues. the main one with youtube though seems to be people moaning about demonetizing their content.
that doesn't bother me, when i get round to it i doubt id get enough views for that to even be a consideration luckily, that isn't why im doing it

True - and in the past few years there seems to have emerged a substantial trend of people on YT getting rich (and monetizing their ''content'') just by reacting to music / toys / comedy shows et al.
Which can be quite entertaining sometimes, but just wait until the great ''reaction fakery backlash YT battle'' kicks in anytime soon...
Even pupils at my primary school believe that YT views/likes/subscriptions are much more important than making anything original (or admittedly, in my case, ''original'' remixes).
