I wish they would send out email notifications for new versions.

I got an email for the last two updates. Have you checked your spam folder? If it’s not there, I vaguely remember signing up for a newsletter with AudioModern. It might not hurt to check and and see if you are subscribed. I have both Ableton and Logic, am using Riffer and really like it. I find it much easier to use than the Coldcut MIDIvolve Max4Live instrument, which is good but much more fiddly to use. And of course only works in Ableton.
However, still for me by far the best of these sort of sequence generator plugins is the free Reaktor instrument Nod-E. Paired with the right synth or sampler patch it just sounds wonderful.
