I can hear them with headphones, but not with monitors.

They start on the second part of the demo, each beats.

This is interesting, because I can hear it with very cheap headphones, but not with Adam A5X + treated room.

Ah well - in which case you've answered your own thread question :hihi:

jancivil wrote: Wed Dec 26, 2018 11:07 pm No, there are backbeat {on 2 & 4} claps throughout. I can hear them better at around 7 seconds because of the arrangement. Most of the OP I don't really even follow. But if you don't hear what I hear you may be kind of deaf. Maybe from hearing this crap over and over.

Thanks ! So You Say That the claps are only on 2 a 4 beats and not on every beats ? Thanks !
I'm not really wanting to hear any more of this. They are present on the backbeat throughout the short clip. It's an extremely cluttered mix and the file has perhaps degraded that further, like a 64mbps or something very lossy.
You seem to have thought the claps first come in at ~7 seconds in, they don't. That's all I have for you, sorry.

When I read the title, first association was the Christmas carol. 2nd association was the scene in Gremlins where the carol is playing (I think it's Johnny Mathis), and the dog is tied up in the Christmas lights outside.... :D

There ARE extra claps on every beat. Very obvious on my Event Opal monitors.
