GSI Varispeed for a free option. Limited in featues, but superb analog sound. I prefer it over Softube Tape Echoes, which sounds quite digital-ish

AudioThing's OuterSpace, tape delay and reverb combined, and reasonably close to those Roland units.

Good call. Along with Modnetic and Replika XT, OuterSpace and Dub-X are my favorite dub delays. (The free TAL-Dubs are great too!)

Twangstrom is great, because you can play those springs also without signal (just like dub maestros occasionally do live with one hand) - that was my one absolutely need to have feature.

You can do that in Primavera too.

I am also looking for a spring reverb that does the "drippy wet boiiiiiing sound" the best. I think I have narrow it down to U-he Twangstrom and Pulsar Primavera : thoughts ?
