I hardly think it's NI's fault if you bought software from someone and don't have the serial for it. It doesn't make good business sense for them to have a copy protection system and then to ignore it for anyone who can't provide a serial.

It's hardly a good reason to recommend others against using the company. It would be better to recommend people against buying used software on KVR when the software comes without a necessary serial number.

Deep purple the reason I go to my account is to get the serial number. Obviously Serial code exists. However, in what world will I be imagining that a company to the level of Native Instruments will manage to delete my account. Do you keep every single serial code from your I K multimedia purchase thinking one day they will delete your account man? like I said forget it you are making me talk about it. I just posted it to make the user aware. That is all.

It's not so much that I don't believe you. It's just that it's so easy to transfer NI's products that I wonder how things can go so terribly wrong.

NI has a forum on which you can post to try to resolve this (you could temporarily create a new account), or you could try to contact them directly. It's possible it was erroneously deleted, but you won't know that unless you persevere with trying to resolve this.

I'm not forcing you to talk about it, and I'm posting because I think you are using this thread to air a personal grievance rather than provide guidance on which product to buy - I have never had any issue with registering products or having my account deleted, and I haven't heard of it happening to anyone else until today.

I was a bit disappointed with SampleTank 3, but I’ve got to say version 4 is everything it should have been. It’s just not terribly useful to design your sounds, but it certainly gives you lots of flexibility over customising their quite decent library.

Kontakt on the other hand, is also great and can be used to design your build your own library if that’s of any use to you. It’s also the main standard used with a lot of 3rd party libraries and there are a lot, it’s downfall is it’s Factory Library which is okay but nothing too special. However, NI often puts their other libraries on sale.

It seems the OP never returned to follow-up with this thread. Based on another post of his elsewhere, he has apparently settled on Reason.
