If you upgrade from BYOME can you then sell BYOME or are they tied together. And, is the $49 upgrade time limited or is that the normal price?

Kind of annoying that this isn’t just a BYOME update. They could have done it like Bx Digital v3 where you get two versions of the same plug from from one license.

Does look nice though. But ya, bring on the granular plug-in already!

byome and triad are seperate plugins. as mentioned in the post before, and i already asked it, what can byome do now, when there is triad. but byome can still be used, of course. and you will not always use 3 band, you have more modes, effect mangling. o you ask to sell, i think so, seperate licenses..

strange it isn't a byome update indeed, perhaps thelizard, of ua, can be of assistance.

perhaps things can be done in the upcoming update of byome, that can be done in triad. i do not know.

i think in the future, they will be packed. or i guess..

$49 is a time limited price, but there certainly will be sales, perhaps even cheaper...

Demoed it for 10 minutes on drums and think it sounds so much better than BYOME. Didn't realize how much multiband would add musically. Some really nice features added.

Oh and it's $49 to buy, making it an easy no-brainer for me.

it is an introducting price, some last as long as a half year or more (voltage modular), MSoundFactory of meldaproduction is still on an introducting price, i do not how long it will be. other PA long-time members will know it, i am quite new....

I'm confused about how this relates to BYOME as well. I've been holding off on getting that, partly because it lacks multi-band.. so do you need to buy this on top of BYOME, as an extension.. or is it a separate thing entirely?
If that's the case, is there a point in still getting BYOME? I assume Triad can also not work in multiband mode. Especially asking since BYOME is now twice the price of Triad for me.. lol

Are you sure about it being time limited? PA's website says 'your plugin of the month price' is 49 USD, which indeed suggests that the upgrade price will go up whenever Triad is no longer 'plugin of the month' (whenever that is... one month from now? or as soon as it's July 1?).

But the e-mail I received from PA says: 'Great news! As you already own BYOME, you will get this brand-new multi-band processor from Unfiltered Audio for only $49. Just grab it on the web site.
Make sure you are logged in to save $250!' ..... So, nothing about this offer being time limited.

I want to buy the upgrade to Triad, but if I could use July's monthly PA voucher to reduce the upgrade price, I wouldn't mind waiting for a couple of weeks.

hmmm. was sure i saw something to that effect during the transaction. now im confused.

I also think it's kinda lame releasing this as a 'separate plugin' - there are certainly a lot of plugin manufacturers who would have released this as an updated BYOME, perhaps with two separate plugins, BYOME and BYOME (Multiband), perhaps with a nominal upgrade fee (see Hive 2 for example...). I don't really see the point in having to keep track of two separate plugins, both financially and in terms of making sure installations are up to date etc.

Having said that the UA guys have been extremely generous with their time and effort in the past (Euro Reakt for example!) so maybe fair to assume this is a PA directed effort, at least when it comes to the pricing. Or maybe Michael just needs to actually get paid now after giving us so much awesome free Reaktor stuff .

Not sure I can be arsed to upgrade, relatively easy to band split and insert 2/3 instances in Bitwig, even if it is a bit more cumbersome.

Dirk has confirmed on the Facebook group that the Byome owners upgrade price will not be time limited, So fingers crossed we should be able to grab it next month with our vouchers.

That's great news the upgrade price will stay that same. Thanks for posting that. Definitely gonna wait to use a voucher. $24 for this update is more than decent - PA can call it whatever they want but it will always be an update for me
