My personal top 3:
  1. Retrospective record
  2. MIDI sends
  3. MIDI modifiers

I want an illogical editor in Studio One also

I don't know how to describe Logical Editor but here's a few presets going in:

I'm far from a power user, but I can start from a preset and make it fit exactly a purpose.
A real basic thing was create presets [and macros] for transposing all 12 intervals (2 of those you don't need, there's an icon in Key Editor for semitone and octave already). But you can get the picture...

'Move selected events by 1000 bars'?.... whut? :o

I've been trying out cubase 10 pro trial and when I load up halion se, I'm unable to see the patch browser. It loads and quickly disappears? Is this one of the bugs people have complained about in cubase?

Post

I loaded it during my trial of 10 ok.

I was trying to find a way to fully explain it, and I couldn't find a way. :hihi:

maybe I'm not clicking the right buttons. I click browser and everything disappears.

Here's a video of my issue:

Did you install the halion content?
If you have to ask, you can't afford the answer

That isn't what it did here with no content. That looks strange. I can't test it, my trial for C10 is over.
I uninstalled all of that content; I took out a trial for Halion 6, hated it for the second time and cleared mostanything that looked like it away (tons of wasted space)... Not my bag really but I was interested in a couple of things in the MPE realm, which I assumed I could use and kept (no license, in fact, bit of a mystery); so I did launch it w. most content missing: it opens up like it's ready to rock but will then ask to search for content once you click on some in its browser.

I'm using the closest equivalent to it in Nuendo but it's not exactly 1:1, it behaved the same just now.

I could be wrong, but I don’t think the libraries show up unless you first install the content. Once installed they remain in the library even if you uninstall the content. I’ve been on the full version for so long, I won’t bet my life on it though.

From that video above ^ Cubase 10 still looks pretty ugly from when I last tested out the previous version, it's like it's taken a skin from Winamp from of 2002, and the style of the Studio One 3 / 4 tool bar. All the rounded corners of almost everything makes the GUI look even more busy than it should. I'm feeling a bit of deja voo as I type this...

I only installed the main cubase pro 10 trial file on Steinberg's downloading tool. It didnt give me an option to download halion content. Should halion content come with the main installer? If not, where do I find it?
