When you started this thread you were sure that Ableton Live was causing your problem ... I hope you've taken the advice in this thread onboard. I suggest you buy (or make) some decent quality shielded audio cables to connect your expensive analog synthesizer to your computer interface. ;)
I do have decent audio cables, the "spaghetti wires" aren't even from me.

This / My whole setup is in our office, I'm only 15, my parents use it too. Mainly just to sometimes print things out, as our printer is in this room, right next to my computer, actually, you can see it in that panoramic photo I sent earlier. The spaghetti wires are from my Dad, as we have this whole server where we have our movies, we have an app on our TV called Plex, and we have a whole computer that stores the files of our shows and movies and whatnot. So the cables are for all of that, and all of our other technological stuff, I don't know what it's all for, except I know that it's a mess, and it's not mine, and it would be nice to have it cleaned up, but I don't think that's ever going to happen, lol. :D

If it doesn't occur when you're not playing or recording, it's not the cables. If it's intermittent or happens after a while it's that the flow of data to or from the audio buffer is being disrupted. This can be slow storage media, background software like backup, bad drivers, sudden spikes in CPU usage from Live or other programs, various hardware sleeping, etc.

If the driver update doesn't work, there are a number of other things to look at, most of which have been mentioned or linked to. What sample rate are you using? Higher rates like 96kHz and 192kHz cause this much sooner.

I had the same problem on W10 on my surface pro 6.
In my case I had to disable a loopcloud startup item.

It's weird, of course, now that I've finally got the start of a good song, the Driver Type / Audio Device that I've selected, ASIO, FL Studio ASIO, which has never really had any latency issues, even when I tried recording a song maybe 30 mins ago, now all of a sudden has latency, even at 256 buffer size, the lowest it can go. Before it was just fine, now, it's like I'm guessing half a second of delay...

.. I don't know anymore. :?

Is there any way you can connect your gear to a different computer? Might be worth seeing how much of an issue the system at home really is.

I'm starting to think its either the computer ... or the audio interface. Is there another ASIO option you could try (other than the FL Studio)?

Had a similar problem in the past but turned out to be WIFI on the computer, turned it off, no more crackling.
I use a UMC1820 works perfectly.

Good one rob. Could well be wifi ... or maybe something else running in the background (auto updates, web browser, etc). Live performs best when it's the only thing running. I tend to close other programs when I'm recording and mixing.

Yeah, I don't know if it's wifi, my computer uses ethernet. I was just running Ableton without anything else open besides Hangouts, (Google Hangouts), Task Manager, and the Behringer Deepmind 12 PC Editor App.

Yes, but the others will crackle way more and slowly drive me insane, lol.

The other options are:
  • ASIO4ALL v2
  • I can't hear anything with this one selected, it's also incredibly laggy for some odd reason.
    Generic Low Latency ASIO Driver
  • Crackles.
    UMC ASIO Driver
  • Can only hear when headphones are plugged into the UMC204HD; I want to be able to listen to the / use my DAW (Ableton Live) through my computer. I think it also has crackling.

Here's something else interesting I just found out:

I recorded the Behringer Deepmind 12 into an Audio Track in Ableton Live, there was a MIDI Track with the previously recorded part of the song, and as I was recording it I heard some more crackles.

The strange thing was, after I played it back, the part where it crackled whilst recording didn't crackle. I kept on playing it and then at one point it crackled again (keep in mind this whole time right now I was playing the recorded audio), but not where it did when I recorded it.

So it seems it just randomly crackles.

... Yeah, I definitely don't understand what's even going on anymore, it's never done this before, now that I've finally got something really cool that I can make hundreds of songs with and get hundreds of ideas with, and whatnot, it doesn't want to work right.

I think it's Resplendence DSP Latency Checker you need to run and find the culprit.
(google it)

(Correction: LatencyMon)

NB you would have had crackling before, with just synths in the box.

Not sure if this was asked yet, but does this happen with any other daw?

I have FL Studio, but I don't know how to get the Behringer Deepmind 12 to work with it.

Plus, I only have the trial of FL Studio, which means no saving, which is pointless in my opinion.

Ever since I've gotten Ableton Live I've used it, not gone back to FL Studio once, except for if I've finished a song and want to use the ZGameEditor Visualizer for making a music video / visualization for said song.

It doesn’t happen in the same spot in the song does it? Live will record the crackling.
