SCSI - I'd forgotten all about that. Does it exist any more? I threw out my Akai last year - binned it. Just recently was perusing SoundonSound 2nd hand and there was an Akai S950 on for something silly like 1000 quid. Seriously?! What fuckin' eejit would pay that? I guess people pay for retro, but sometimes retro = shite.

Use a flat horn or longish sample and lofi it maybe subtly pitch up or down a lil
