more experimental vintage synths? like the synclavier, or buchla easel, or synthi?
but that is my personal opinion (and i do like the Mini v, cs-80, arp 2600, modular, the sem!, etc. use them for tracks.. you can experiment with thém...)
the ANS (russion sprectral, sonagram, etc synth)??
korg stuff is already covered by korg (where is the ms-2000 and yes the korg radias?).
and full bucket (great emulations).

Major update of the Modular V to the Model 72's audio quality and authenticity standard. That would be most awesome, the only thing that I'm really longing for.

Not yet a classic.YCLNDR wrote: Tue Jul 14, 2020 5:44 pm In my opinion, you should include PIGMENTS in V Collection 8!
I suggest they do Massive and Absynth. Those are real classics. Ones that need a new resizable interface too.

The theremin is a very cool instrument and maybe they'll consider doing an emulation, but more than its sound, what really makes it unique is the way it's physically controlled for pitch/amplitude, which ultimately can't be replicated on standard midi keyboards owned by 99% of the userbase.
The sound itself is really basic, it can be easily replicated with most other (soft)synths.

Truly authentic theremin sounds are not readily available. This includes not only the unique interaction, but also the tolerances and idiosyncrasies of the vintage components. Instruments are defined by their limitations as much as their abilities.
The way you interact with the theremin is of course the most defining aspect of the instrument and it’s unique sound. A virtual theremin needs to simulate this interaction. This would of course be achieved primarily through a 3D skeuomorphic interface and your mouse, but the pitch and x-y-z planes could easily be linked to controllers, such as the pitch/mod wheel and a keyboard.
If Arturia felt like such an instrument was too limited to sell, they could always give it away for free, as a way to register new users and get them into the ASC ecosystem, and expand their customer base.
THIS MUSIC HAS BEEN MIXED TO BE PLAYED LOUD SO TURN IT UP
