Introducing SampleTank 4 CS plus Six New Expansion Libraries

I click "authorize" and paste in the serial.

It connects to the IK server and says it is done.

I then try and load up a sound and it asks to be authorized.

I have tried it with the standalone as well but it will not remain authorized.

Any ideas ?

Make sure you have your SampleTank 4 CS sound content installed before authorizing. Make sure also that SampleTank 3 and SampleTank 4 CS sound are stored separately. If this does not help, the best place for help is our support team. PM me your ticket number once opened and I can make sure the team gets back to you as quickly as possible.

Although I could install / authorize Syntronic free content and Bully synth as well as the older Sampletank 3 CS content without problems.

I made a support request at IK. The software looks and sounds very nice.

Make sure in the meantime that you have your SampleTank 4 CS sound content installed before authorizing. Authorize using the Authorization Manager. This is included with your download. If you've already authorized, please try this again, we've made some changes on our end to improve the process.

And thank you for this part, by the way. I agree, I think these free sounds are really great, and with the ability to use the Editor now we should see (technically hear) a lot more great sounds in the SampleTank 4 format.

The problem seems to have been fixed now. Everything works fine now.

I think that the problem is that the ST4 Cs installer also installs the Authorization Manager. And then, if I remember correctly, runs the Authorization Manager. So users are tempted to Authorise ST4 CS at that point. And that is generally BEFORE the Sounds Library has been installed.

So:
-- install ST4 CS and the Authorization Manager,
-- install the ST4 CS Sounds library,
-- Authorize ST4 CS using the Authorization Manager.

Sampletank 4 CS found my Sampletank 3 (full) install path and added them automatically, and they load a lot faster than in 3,very pleased.

It's a very cool thing, I think. I know I'd love to see third-party libraries but I also would love to see what some of you personally come up with too.

The ST4 update and free CS sounds installed without any issue and all is working nicely.

Thanks for the great sounding packs and the editor too!

How do you register it?

The same as any other IK product :p Use the serial number from your ...................

I know you would have no way of knowing this but I've been an IK customer since Amplitube 1.0. I can handle registering a plugin as long as IK do their part. That was the reason for my question. No need for you to provide anymore of this wondrous support as after 2 days a serial has miraculously popped up in my account.
