where is the timbre/y-axis modulation source for mpe?

MPE must be enabled in the settings, goto Matrix, under the tab "layer" you will see page 1, click that, it will change to page 2, here is MOD parameter the Y-axis. This is a nice synth! 
Well, potentially at least.
Using one sample to modulate another sample that is already being granulated can get pretty hectic, but I'm finding subtle modulation brings the most interesting results.
When I first saw this I had in mind that it was just another granular, then I looked into it and it turned out to be so much more!

2mb sample limit is somewhat annoying, in that a lot of my samples are larger than that and so I have edit them to use them.
I guess with 4 layers that is perhaps understandable though.

You can extend all ADSR parameters to up to 10 secs or 8 bats (if time sync enabled) of max time. Click on the ALT button on the ADSR panel and the CURVE knob changes to MAX.

Regarding the size limitation, a 4 layer patch can have up to 8 Mb of samples (4x2MB). Since this samples are included in the DAW project file, we think that it's already a considerable size. We had a cool suggestion from a user. Automatically trim a sample being loaded to our max size limitation to avoid people the need to edit them somewhere. Do you agree?

I really like the idea of this but this has so many "engineer as designer" problems that I can't get to grips with it.
The text is incredibly hard to read on my large HD monitor, the UI has little to no color coding so all the knobs really just look exactly the same and navigation is unintuitive. And then there's the white noise burst in trial mode. Seriously, it's 2020, this has been talked about for 15 years now. At least make it pink noise! Having my ears jolted doesn't make me want to spend money.

Was trying to buy the new preset pack but the only buy link I can find requires me to store my card details on the Imaginado site in advance of actually buying anything - no way am I going to do that. I know I used Paypal to buy FRMS so where is the Paypal option?
