Only 1 DAW & 1 xtra synth - what would you choose?

Live and Diva
or
Logic and Diva
Shit this is a tough one... But I was assuming I can't say Kontakt but that would be "synth" choice... Live and Kontakt alone, I'd be good.

Bitwig and Falcon.
I can't really see what those two together couldn't do together. Bitwig with "The Grid" pretty much a build yourself any synth or plugin and Falcon can do more advance sample synth stuff.
Kind of makes me wonder why I buy plugins anymore.
Personally U-He's Hive 2, Diva and ACE would still be missed.

Bitwig is my DAWs and UHe and Tracktion Synths are my Bae. I maybe buy one synth a year. REMEMBER SELF just one synth a year!

Legally, "suites" aren't just a DAW, it includes bundled extras (i.e. more synths) which disqualifies itself from this question. Are you trying to say that Reason standard isn't worthy by itself?starflakeprj wrote: Fri May 01, 2020 3:22 pmAgreed, as standalone Reason 11 Suite is my top choice. None of the other DAWs have anything that compares in terms of stock instruments/effects.
I prefer using rack extensions only in Reason, so Nostromo maybe as my choice of extra synth. Otherwise Avenger, since I have 30 expansions for it![]()

Yes, as long as that LFO can be routed to CV out of the synthDistorted Horizon wrote: Fri May 01, 2020 4:58 pmMmmm you mean that I could "steal" lfo from some synth and modulate some built in tool parameters with it? Reason style?

No, it's perfectly capable on its ownpushy wrote: Fri May 01, 2020 6:06 pmLegally, "suites" aren't just a DAW, it includes bundled extras (i.e. more synths) which disqualifies itself from this question. You can't blame one for trying, but yes, Reason standard is more than worthy enoughpushy wrote: Fri May 01, 2020 6:06 pmLegally, "suites" aren't just a DAW, it includes bundled extras (i.e. more synths) which disqualifies itself from this question.
