No, other than being abandonware, it’s great. Extremely detailed 100-band Vocoder. One of the absolute best out there.

Lector has been updated to version 1.1.8! 
Changes in Version 1.1.8
- ARM64 support (Apple Silicon) for macOS, AU and VST/VST3
- Minimum macOS version supported is now 10.14
- Windows version updated to match macOS version
- Samples and presets locations updated for Windows
- General maintenance (new installer, compatibility with latest OS versions)

I just happened to check my user account since it had been about a year since the last time I did. The hell? I downloaded v 1.1.8 before. I installed it, though I did notice the version number didn't change. I thought nothing of it (thinking maybe they forgot to update the v number on the plugin). Turns out I had to uninstall the previous version for the newer version to install. Go figure.
