If this was someone's first reverb plugin, it could be worth it. Easy way to blend two common styles of reverb with all the standard features that one could expect to mix it in (although I don't see a dynamics section?). Good UI and UX with intuitive blending. Honestly a nice introduction into reverbs for those who aren't into the sound design of it all.

However, as someone who owns the Valhalla series and MTR (yes I know many here are not a fan of Melda. To each their own), and modular DAW's, hosts, and chainers, this doesn't impress me at all. The only "new feature" it has on offer to me would be their AI assist, and personally I like to mix and master on my own.

I think this is where most of the negativity in this thread is bred from. Most member on KVR already have a large toolset that fits their needs, so they're looking for something new and revolutionary. Not another reinvention of the wheel. But for those who don't already have a decent reverb suite, this looks like a nice, intuitive, and user friendly plugin to get started with.

+1

I wathed the video by the youtube guy opening a separate thread and liked what I saw. However, I will not buy it, as I have Melda, Valhalla and several others and simply do not need it. I stopped collecting anyway.

Even if I wanted to I wouldn't have money for this, but the idea of unmasking interests me. I might try the demo to see how that aspect works.
Every day takes figuring out all over again how to f#ckin’ live.

I don't find this new reverb exciting at all I have not demoed it personally but based on their presentation online it sounds pretty generic and borderline harsh compare to others like Perfect room, MT Reverb, LiquidSonic,VAlhalla,Sonnox etc.and boii they overprice just like their other plugins. No bueno.

Definitely makes me think of sonible's smart reverb. I do really like Exponential Audio's reverb algorithms though, so maybe on sale.

i dunno, i spent the last hour comparing it to my go-tos, and... i like it. a lot. it's clean, present. the options are good, the presets are a good place to start.

the reverb assistant works well, cleans out space for... the space, and there's good clarity on the source.

i looped the same vocal phrase 3 times in a row (eq'd, compressed); 8 measures each: neoverb, pro-R, valhalla vintage. they all have their strengths, but there's great depth in neoverb, and (with my izotope discount) am going for it.

At first i wasn't too impressed but after playing with it for a few nights i decided to get it with the loyalty offer. It's not a very creative reverb with tons of character but as a neutral reverb to use in context i like the sound and ease of use.

I guess it's very personal, both sound very different to me.

Is it pointless to use this as a send?

To me, Exponential reverbs are excellent (this reverb includes the tech) - better than most you listed. Comparable to the rest. Just different, as they all are.

Of the ones you listed, to my ears, Valhalla is the best... but I pick Exponential and Relab every time over Valhalla reverbs (now, the delay is another story!!).

The Smooth and Unmasking features and are definitely handy. I often just use a little of it as I like to leave little bit of weight in the reverb, it tends to sound less processed in my opinion.

It sounds as good as any other Exponential Audio reverb on top of that. I like the potential for easily automating the space type too.
