Yep. I personally wouldn’t use acustica on the master bus.

It is possible, and to good effect. I pay special attention when I am working with anything from AA. I listen more closely and I try and see how far I am from bad sounding artifacts so I know much headroom there is. I find AA tech has a sort of sweet spot of operation and if I can work within it, it can sound great. But it can also not work depending on the source and what you are going for.

I use Acustica EQs on my master buss all the time. No issues.

softube/ni passive eq is what lives on my master, but if I want to replace it with a more colored one it would be between lindell te-100 and more recently psp mcq

One of the best in the box mastering EQs. The only one that beats it is TDR Slick EQ M.

I'd put EQuilibrium at the top of the pile for versatility and sound quality, although it doesn't add any mojo. Slick EQ M for ease of use, the sound quality is up there with EQuilibrium, AND you have the ability to add in as much or as little mojo as you like, two different types in fact.

Depends, I would say. Mine was an Auto - Balancing kind of Mojo on the Master; yet most people seemed to have the 'non - linearities' in Mind, as it seems.

For me mojo in an EQ is anything beyond clear/transparent sound. This "mojo" can be a combination of distortion and the sonic nature of the EQ curves and their audible interactions.

Also, with some EQs it's about something 'impactful' that is imprinted by the EQ onto the program material, where the sound is very audibly transformed in a way that 'gentler' more transparent EQs can't do. This is why I like AA Gold, it's got an authoritative sound that I can't get from my other ('algo') EQs. Just a small boost adds this element, this 'in-your-face' tone. Same with the DiamondEQ, and many otherAA EQs. DDMF 6144 is also similar to this, but when compared to my AA EQs, I prefer the AA offerings.

PSP E27 - very musical, great on guitars and vocals - hi-mojo
Bettermaker - great tonality, only demo'd it and it definitely has mojo - hi-mojo
museq - classic coloring, only demo'd, sounds clean but adds subtle weight and clarity - hi-mojo
Radiator - great on vocals - hi-mojo
Harrison 32C - haven't used but people like the color it imparts
MAutoDynamicEQ - super clean, oversampling, analog warmth and saturation, great on everything - lo/med/hi-mojo
Pultec Emulations - UAD (ftw/consensus), Waves, Softube, Tube-Tech... - med-mojo
Maag EQ 4 - very musical too, great on vocals and orchestral/symphonic - med-mojo
API 550/560 - great for drum and bass - med-mojo
