Hi, i tried demo. For me it was always the problem of working with previous UI skin. With new purple skin the synth is VERY workable for me. I quickly created couple of interesting sounds within DEMO.
Before i could make a decision to buy i have couple of questions:

1. I find in videos and in manual step and glide LFOs. But i fail to find how to make then in the UI? I don't see those buttons.

2. What is a sophisticated way to make velocity affect envelopes? I found i can set Velocity as a "via" parameter. But then i can only affect via-curve. What i wanted is to actually have linear "via", BUT velocity to start not from very 0 but from half of a velocity.

3. I think my ergonomic mouse has different precision or some smoothing on mousewheel. Which makes it SKIP values when using for pitch transpose SOMETIMES. So like i make 3 different steps of wheel scroll and pitch does not change, then i make 4th wheel step and pitch jumps over +3 semitones. I is real challenge for me to achieve -1 octave -2 octave etc. Is there any other way to put transpose values quicker? For the rest of controls it is not that important because i set other knobs by ear and not exact values.

After updating it from v2.9.8 to v2.9.9 the plugin is no longer recognized in Reaper so I downgraded it to v2.9.8

I do MOST of my test with Reaper and I tested upgrading from 2.9.8 to 2.9.9 many many times.

I would recommend a clean installation:

delete 2.9.8 data files, reinstall 2.9.9. and rescan vst plugins in Reaper.

I also have REAPER, and Synthmaster 2.9.9 runs perfectly. I tested in macOS 10.14 (Mojave) for the moment (I'm in the process of assembling a new Windows machine)

2.9.9 loads up a little slower than 2.9.8 did, and on my system on the first scan was slow enough to JUST make reaper throw up the 'this plugin is taking a long time' dialog box that they added in 6.17 or 6.18 before removing the dialog box a split second later. It's possible on a slower system, or on an older version of reaper it might be enough to convince reaper that the plugin is 'bad' somehow.

New update bring old GUI bug from SynthmasterOne to Synthmaster 2. Now in Renoise I can't set sliders or knobs precisely. Works normally in Synthmaster 2.9.8. You do something wrong with GUI.

I checked issue nr 3 from my earlier post viewtopic.php?p=7983386#p7983386 with a different mouse and issue persists. So perhaps there is an issue with how knobs react to mouse wheel.

Had a short play with latest 2.9 with several crashes while switching oscillator types. Gui gets reverted to the purple one. Like the new flat theme - just too many crashes for me.
It asks me to switch to the online version. No clue what that means :?

I can't confirm this one. I tested with 2 different mouses and the scroll wheel increment is correct: 1 step.

We don't support Windows 7, but will test with Bitwig.

How do I revert to the latest Win7 version?

Would have been nice to know that Win7 isn´t supported :(
Even in my Downloads page on your site it´s not mentioned.
Such things are too timeconsuming and senseless.

Both synthmasters are high quality synths, personally i was shocked how powerful is SM2 first i touch it back in 2016-2107 can't remember exact year i bought it.
Most impressive was that developer listen what users say or want, constantly upgrading it till recent edition.
Can't find why what i suggest over a year,to build a lfo phase frame isn't discussed at all,it will make SM real monster.
In two words for ordinary users, there is start point or phase for lfo modulation, but not end point,so you have to use what is in the list instead of define you own curve or progress of lfo modulation.
In best case you can use some tricks like slow speed or other to achieve similar result of what can be done very easily with lfo frame letting you to choose fragment of lfo curve.
Anyway i'm just talking :)
Cheers :)

I think this method still works to upgrade to Windows 10 from 7:

I will look into this, but looks like Renoise handles some things differently than other DAWs. We test with Reaper, Logic, ProTools, Bigwig, Ableton, Studio One and FLStudio and NONE of them has this issue.
