Sure. It would be me pleasure. You pay for traveling and staying expenses, and I'll be glad torevvy wrote: Thu Dec 31, 2020 5:13 pm Fernando, you find everything so funny? After COVID I hope you come to my next standup gig, I could do with folks like you in the audience
First: I never said goodbye to the platform. I hate Apple, but I like the platform. I invested too many years on it to let just a bunch of **** to push me out. I hope to live enough to see them doomed, anyway.revvy wrote: Thu Dec 31, 2020 5:13 pm Also: calm down mate, you have NOTHING to school me on, oddly Mac-obsessive that you are. I never waste my time in Windows threads, hopefully one day you'll be at peace enough to leave Mac threads alone after your multi-year long goodbye to the platform.
Second: It's not true that you stay out of Windows threads. You posted on a thread where a guy said he is tired of macOS and is seeking advice for the best DAW to use in Windows. It qualifies as a Windows thread to me
Third: It's always funny to post in Mac threads, and see all the Mac fanboys distill all their vitriol on me (fair enough, you were not the only one - the usual legion of Apple fanboys immediately jumped with the usual BS)
Fourth, and to get back to your post. I see no reason why a host that only supports VST (which is the "de facto" standard in what concerns plug-ins) should be dismissed, just because they don't adhere to the Apple "standards". VST works pretty well on macOS (at least on the hosts I use, except maybe Digital Performer, which, despite their late effort, still shows the result of too many years being just a macOS application - that's why in it I just use AU).
Anyway, have a great 2021, and let's hope we can keep amuse each other in macOS threads
