It's for people quickly arranging with one hand on their mouse or touchscreen and one hand on their midi controller...jancivil wrote: Fri Apr 02, 2021 1:08 am anything which has double click on a note to delete, now idiotically adopted for Cubase Pro 11

so the people who are used to it being the way to open up Note Expression editor can f**k off and die, since that I'm in a super hurry workflow is too important to be a right-click maneuver (and still not have to take your hands off the mouse), & which NE access is now, due to this 'maintenance update' feature marketing insisted on. And which seems part of the botch which has this idiotic error message ('Ramp curves are not supported in tracks set to Channel = Any') that pops up doing things entirely unrelated to any controller lane. Which was fine in 11.0. "Maintence Update", break features in favor of new ones that do things that can easily be done in other ways.

Best to make those kind of behavioural changes available in the preferences. I can hear you swearing from here.jancivil wrote: Sat Apr 03, 2021 12:12 am so the people who are used to it being the way to open up Note Expression editor can f**k off and die, since that I'm in a super hurry workflow is too important to be a right-click maneuver (and still not have to take your hands off the mouse), & which NE access is now, due to this 'maintenance update' feature marketing insisted on
