How on earth did I miss this? This is terrible news!

This really hurts. May you rest peacefully Lotuzia, you were an exceptionally kind human being. I will miss your sometimes quirky humor and great talent but most of all your endearing personality.

Just read about his passing in the Xils' newsletter.
So sad. So passionate about his projects and had a lot of knowledge to share.

I don't know much about Laurent except that he didn't want me to call him Laurent. We had several disputes on KvR and I would lie that I liked him very much.
He always did a lot of advertising for Xils, so I assumed he worked for Xils. Other than that, I think he did some presets for Arturia Synth, which is why I'll remember him as a sound designer.
That he died is really terrible news and a real shock. I'm very sorry especially for his friends and family.

This is sad. He always seemed a very friendly guy in my interactions with him. Does anyone know what age he was?

I feel like he didn’t know it was coming. We were literally corresponding via PM about a plugin I was selling. I ended up just giving it to him (it was for a redundant license) and we just shot the sh!t about stuff for a bit. It was clear that he was thinking he’d be around to use the plugin. So sad. Should we have our plugin licenses in our wills?

I had an instrument will that had several KvR members at one point, including MW to get his Daion back...believe or not all but a few have passed or no longer to be found here at KvR and the person to carry it out is also gone (Denise)...in the event of my demise I have asked Ash to auction off all my stuff and donate the proceeds to KidsPeace/Graham Lake

WTF is this? I thought Laurent was just a young guy we had spoken many times over the past 10-12yrs about synths and sounds
