One of Bitwig's amazing options is that you can basically duck any parameter from the incoming signal, or even another track.Dirk Diggler wrote: Thu Mar 27, 2025 11:54 pm I just thought of another thing the Microcosm adds into the mix, ducking, their devices duck really well. Infinite Jets also ducks very well.
Generative Looping VST Like Hologram Microcosm or Chase Bliss Mood?

imo there isn't anything that can really do what the microcosm does, except the microcosm.
Lese has just released a new looper called slice, maybe check that out. I am still deciding on it as it's not super intuitive (imo) and results for me are still only an inkling of it's capabilities.

Well, bought slice as well, thanks to the lese.io wintersale... btw: it's not unintuitive, I was just using on material that was not overly suited to it. Pretty cool little looper

$59, on sale right now.zerocrossing wrote: Sun Mar 16, 2025 5:00 am I've had great results using Other Desert Cities, Portal and Fragments. I'll try out Halo Effect, but I've been pretty satisfied so far.
more input on this anybody ? it´s 10$ too much for an impulse buy, haha
the (micro-) looper is not clear to me. How long does it loop ?

Honestly, I played with it for a half hour and I wasn't impressed. I liked their reverb thing more.Funky40 wrote: Thu Apr 03, 2025 1:56 am$59, on sale right now.zerocrossing wrote: Sun Mar 16, 2025 5:00 am I've had great results using Other Desert Cities, Portal and Fragments. I bought Weeping Wall and I really love it. I'll probably pick up Ridgewalk next.jules99 wrote: Sat Mar 29, 2025 8:39 pm Take a look at Weeping Wall and Ridgewalk from Aqeel Aadam Sound. They're like two sides of a micro-looping coin, not too far from Mood/Microcosm's looping engines.

Audio Damage has been teasing a new looper of some sort on Insta for a couple weeks as "coming soon". Not sure if it's suitable for micro looping but might be worth checking out when it's released "soon". They already have the Enso looper so I'm not sure what this new one brings to the table.

Here's the new plugin he's working on, which can be used to control Weeping Wall and Ridgewalk:jules99 wrote: Sat Mar 29, 2025 8:39 pm Take a look at Weeping Wall and Ridgewalk from Aqeel Aadam Sound. They're like two sides of a micro-looping coin, not too far from Mood/Microcosm's looping engines.

$25.60 It's very cool actually, the more I explore it. Control of the looper is a bit rudimentary,
but it's still pretty interesting despite that...

Nice! I subscribed to their mailing list and will buy the next time it goes on sale. The sounds in the short demo didn't impress me but the sounds in the Overview video are super nice.

Hmm sale was still active when I posted that. You just add the code when checking out. Was
a big banner across the top of his site.
Maybe a safari thing if you’re not seeing it. Anyway WINTER25 is the code.
