Our 14-yo son is pretty obsessed with Cash's "Hurt" cover, too! He has very eclectic taste in music, and he keeps Johnny Cash, Billy Idol, Lunik, John Denver, Europe, Peter Schilling, and Evanescence in heavy rotation.

I still love the original, but Booker T & The MG's "Mrs. Robinson" instrumental is just so damn fun and groovy:

The Giles Martin's remixes of the Beatles' albums are, generally, superior to the original mixes. I have a couple of quibbles, but for the most part, the stuff he's worked on sounds like it could've been recorded any time.

"Tom's Diner" by Suzanne Vega, remixed by D.N.A.
"Push It" by Salt N Peppa, remixed by some DJ whose name I forget

I love them both.

I wouldn't say better, but I do like it. Also, pretty brave to give the synthwave treatment to such an iconic track:

CrimsonWarlock aka TechnoGremlin, Moved to Reason and Rack Extensions exclusively (from Reaper and VSTs) several years ago.

Klaxons - Magick (Simian Mobile Disco Remix)

Erol Alkan - Spectrum (Special Request Kaleidoscopic Mix)

I love both also. Watched this live when it was on. It was incandescent.
