I'd be interested in a Palme or Résonance after trying this, what neat concepts.

Looks and sounds great but it's too expensive (for me, imho and all that) for what it is.

The triple diffusors would be a perfect match to create a virtual Ondes Martenot. The Ondes oscillators are pretty easy to replicate and the filter shouldn’t be a problem either. Then play it with a LinnStrument…

I am having this thought more and more in todays market.

I just bought it- came out under £30 for me, just about in my impulse purchase price range!

I love this type of thing....I have been playing my resonator through it for hours but you could use this on anything you may use a reverb on, some really cool and interesting sounds to be had....
X32 and 24C mixers, S88MK3, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6, Pro3, S4, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone, OP1-F, OPXY, TR-1000, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

I really like how you can use it to create a hazy version of a pad you can fade in and then automate it from wet to dry to bring the source sound through, it's kind of like something appearing through mist.

Are you safe?

Love that expression, and it's exactly what I feel when Gong Amp is used sparsely.

Right, this thing reminded me of wandering through the haze... of my hangover.

This looks so interesting. And a few walkthroughs show that it's more versatile than it seems!

This plug is awesome! Just bought it :tu:

I just used it in a project on a panning pluck ostinato. Gong Amp provided a cool reverb-but-not-reverb sheeny vibe while also accentuating some of the attack harmonics, using the pillow. It's the panning sequence in this track:

Cool! Thanks for sharing. Reverb-but-not-reverb fits Gong Amp really well :)

Bought and been using Gong Amp for the last couple of hours. Love it :tu:

But I have noticed one thing which may be a bug or just a limitation of the methodology used in this plugin:-

When it happens:
Reaper is playing and you have automation affecting any of Gong Amp's parameters. So, for instance, "Resonate" is being switched off or on with automation, or "STEREO" is being increased or decreased with automation.

What happens:-
Affects Reapers Arrange window. Not possible to create new automation points on any tracks, not just the one that has Gong Amp on it. Not possible to select a Region to loop it.

To be clear, this only happens during the time when the automation is actually affecting Gong Amp.

No CPU overloads, memory issues. No issues with any other AudioThing plugins.

Tried all the Gong Amp Tail Block sizes. Tried with Gong Amp GUI acceleration off and on. Tried with Gong Amp GUI open and closed. Tried Gong Amp VST2 and VST3.

Like I say, I suspect it is just a limitation of the methodology used in this plugin. But I love automation!!
