Thanks, yes with price tracking when its ready you'll be able to historical prices so you'll know what prices products sold at previously during salesHAL76 wrote: Fri Feb 04, 2022 12:32 pm Great idea - or better: lots of work you do for us! Some thoughts:
- Some companys (e. g. Acustica Audio) only deliver pictures with the discount amount. I guess they want to evade that people can search for discounts on google and still see the amount years later. That is generally not in the companys interest.
- It woulkd be great to have something like a "sales status" for the companys that shows at least the number of sales they have had in the lust year and the average amount of discounts.
I scraped the prices for 17k+ audio plugins so you can see price history and setup price alerts on products

Nice work. Thanks for the effort. No idea how complicated it would be but I would like to have an option on filter for the "type" of copy protection. Would be nice to at least sort out i-lok-ed products. The other obvious one would be c/r and serial or keyfile. Thanks
It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?

Interesting idea. Maybe we could do that, but the main idea here is to just make it simple to see all deals in one place plus have price tracking/notification/history etc.

Some more progress since our last post. We'velaunched the initial version of price tracking on the site now. Before I go further into this, I just want to clarify, everything on the site including functionality, design, layout, experience etc. is all "MVP" (minimal viable product) meaning it may not look very pretty, but it will work.
We're doing it this way as its the fastest way to build upon the idea, continually iterating, adding new features, improving design etc. as we go. There are lots of things that don't work as expected such as filtering categories/sub-categories and multiple versions of products being listed (because one distributor might call something "Piano VST" and the other might just call it "The Piano VST" making it hard to merge into one "product name" in our database), but these are all expected on our end and we can fix them in time.
The very first iteration of price tracking is now live on the site. You'll see a little "History" link over each deal icon and when you click on it, it will bring you to the price history for that product. While it may be missing some information for now for products that are on multiple stores (if the other stores call the product by a slightly different name - which will be fixed), its the first working version
Here's an example for MAmp by Melda Production:
https://musicsoftwaredeals.com/price-hi ... tion-2211/
We've only tracked its price for 3 months so far, so there's limited data for now, but you'll see it shows the price history of the product on ADSRSounds and Plugin Boutique. Over the next few months (and for Black Friday especially) it will start to build more of a price history profile so that chart will be more detailed and have more stores on it.
The price history page doesn't look nice, doesn't have button to link to the product on the stores, and doesn't have price notifications (get notified when it hits a specific price) but those will come further down the line.
Just wanted to show you that the price tracking is already up and running, tracking prices of products across multiple stores to give you a better idea of where the prices are throughout the year.
Any feedback much appreciated!

Yes we already list your store on our site as we crawl that exact page to pull your deals into our site. Though...your coupons make the "actual" price a bit confusing as it seems some coupons don't work for all products and the discount varies for each couponUncle E wrote: Thu Mar 17, 2022 6:40 amIn case it helps, all of our active deals can be found at this link:musicsoftwaredeals wrote: Wed Jan 12, 2022 3:23 pm - Hard to see an overview of every deal in one place.
