Thanks.
It seems like once the big rush is over and things get sorted,
it should be relatively easy if you have to switch to a new computer for some reason.
Thanks.
I'm pretty sure all that means is it's not bundled for new users. If you already have it, it still works. I don't use it, but there was reference to it in the installer.
I have looked and cannot see a way to make it show up in 12 even though it is still there in 11. Prologue, Mystic, and Spector have also disappeared.noiseboyuk wrote: Thu Mar 03, 2022 9:54 amI'm pretty sure all that means is it's not bundled for new users. If you already have it, it still works. Give it a try.kritikon wrote: Thu Mar 03, 2022 10:27 am "Loopmash FX is still there."
Is it? Says on Steiny site it's no longer included. So if I save the VSTi from old version Cubase I could move it around and put back into the Cubase 12 VST folder and still use it?
Thanks - that's what I thought. It's possible it might be able to be saved...Steinberg generally don't make things that easy though.dellboy wrote: Thu Mar 03, 2022 10:24 amI have looked and cannot see a way to make it show up in 12 even though it is still there in 11. Nah, not spending that cash on a vague maybe. Loopmash really is a dealbreaker for me.chk071 wrote: Thu Mar 03, 2022 10:28 amGive it a try.kritikon wrote: Thu Mar 03, 2022 10:27 am "Loopmash FX is still there."

Not sure if that would work on Mac OS on a M1 machine though.

Loopmash FX is still included. Loopmash VSTi is not. The old synths (Spector, Mystic, Prologue) aren't either but can be brought over by copying Synthengine.vst3 into Cubase 12 vst3 folder. Doesn't work with Loopmash unfortunately.kritikon wrote: Thu Mar 03, 2022 10:27 am "Loopmash FX is still there."

It reads on the Steiny site like it is no longer included and no longer works in Cubase 12. Can anyone confirm one can still save it from older version and use it in 12?
I'm just curious - what form was Loopmash in prior to v12? Was it not a VST3?c0nan wrote: Thu Mar 03, 2022 11:45 am Loopmash FX is still included. Loopmash VSTi is not. It was. It has its own vst3 file. If I copy that the plugin manager will detect it but it won't open in Cubase. The track ends up empty. I don't really use Loopmash, but I actually like the old synths. To get rid of them more or less unannounced is...well...not nice. Maybe that stuff will be available as part of the legacy downloads or something.noiseboyuk wrote: Thu Mar 03, 2022 11:49 amI'm just curious - what form was Loopmash in prior to v12?
