Resets to default values, as they are defined in the Default preset. As was pointed out, you can redefine these values easily by setting your own Default preset in the Preset Manager. It's not possible to simply reset to 12 o'clock if parameter is e.g. logarithmic or if it's range is not symmetric like in the Stereo knob. I do not think I've ever met such critique.J1000 wrote: Wed Apr 20, 2022 11:01 am Could you explain the unusual double-click knob reset positions? Common practice for knobs is to reset to minimum, maximum or center (12 o'clock). Particularly weird are Damp Hi and Reverb level knobs that reset to 7kHz and -8.0dBFS with offset, when you could've set them to 6.5kHz and -9.0dBFS that would've been in center.
If you're trying to guide users to good sounding values that should be achieved through default preset, not this way. Please consider fixing this behaviour .

Thank you both very much! I didn't knew that knob reset positions were tied to internal default preset and that saving it would redefine them.Aleksey Vaneev wrote: Wed Apr 20, 2022 11:57 amResets to default values, as they are defined in the Default preset. This is really amazing. Just the seperate Dry and Wet controls are fantastic. I wish all reverbs had that. Some you slap it on the insert and mix in slightly, but you lose some of your dry signal in the process, or just never get the wet/dry knob right, hard to find sweetspot. This keeps the dry signal intact and mixes the wet in beautifully. The sound is really good too, sounds more like convolution than traditional software algo reverb. Doesnt sound tinny, grainy or artificial to me.

...i thought you were neutral and did not support war

He made it explicitly, that people know and don't always ask.Prototype_human wrote: Tue May 03, 2022 1:03 pm Why did you add

He made a statement in the email, it's also here in the forum iir.
Also there is no indication he supports the war, it's only, that he is from Russia and people should know before buying that they "may" support a russian developer when they're buying. Nothing more.

My bad.All apologies.I never received the mail you send about this and since i am spending much more time to make music and not on kvr like i was in the past i did miss a lot of things.Aleksey Vaneev wrote: Tue May 03, 2022 4:00 pm Yes, I'm now including "Made in Russia" label explicitly so that nobody is caught in ignorance of software's origin. I can't say this acts negatively to sales, but probably keeps negatively-minded people away. I'm not a war supporter, nor I'm legislation-level racism supporter either.

Aleksey, congratulations on the anniversary! You're biased
The market is also oversaturated ... and I'm not the only one to question do I really need another reverb?
Might I suggest you put a video up on Youtube that shows off the features of Sobor or enlist someone to do one. Only video I could find is a really shitty text to speech reading of your product description and completely useless. Guess it'll come down to the demo. I like to do my research prior to the trial and understand what other people have to say before diving in.

Well, this applies to a lot of products and companies, not just me. You'll only hear reiterating speeches about the "usual suspects" - in the Internet it works like a self-fulfilling prophecy.
So, I suggest you to simply try Sobor to see if it fits your sound, there's no other way. Video demo may not be a good starting ground: e.g. if you compose orchestral music you need a specific reverb sound, if you compose EDM you need another, etc.
As a plug-in producer, I'm only getting praises about Sobor - from those who did overcome the gravity of the "usual suspects".
