ReaDelay has an "Add Tap" button in the lower left corner. You can add as many tabs as you want.

MDelayMB in parallel mode is great and gives you up to 12 taps. Here's a tutorial:

(The "disabled" crossover mode has been renamed to "parallel" in the latest version.

but...well...this melda stuff, esp for multitap editing, is a pita
i just did a little test: what a pain - just to adfust tap distributions

on the other side:
what a joy with relayer or ultratap or even byome...

It's not really designed for multi-tap usage. That's just a side effect of the multi-band system.

Relayer seems to be much better suited for that purpose, but iLok isn't an option for me. Ultratap, I have no idea how I can set individual delay times for each tap. And again, iLok.

I figured that there's got to be a better option in the Meldaverse so I looked through MTurboDelay. It has a multi tap device with up to 8 taps on a single screen called Oktafon. And there are interesting options like pitch-shifting (chromatic or scale based). And with the MB version, you can again setup up to 6 parallel copies.

But the UI isn't quite as nice as Relayer.

2 very flexible delays with multitap capabilities:
SoundToys EchoBoy
FabFilter Timeless 3

You might also consider ValhallaDSP Valhalla UberMod or Eventide UltraTap, but these multitap plugins do not let you control the individual taps. You just set the number of taps, the slope, etc.

Which begs the question - How come Loomer's Shift2 gets no love whatsoever? I hardly ever read its praises. This is not an ad, but with its five delay voices, pitch tracking and granular engine, what's not to love!
If you can't dazzle 'em with brilliance, baffle 'em with bullshit.

just mentioning Late Replies again - it has 8 taps each of which can host itself as a plugin and they too can host themselves etc etc Or host Relayer or pretty much anything else. Not the easiest plugin to understand but ridiculously powerful - you could probably make an entire track with a kick drum and Late Replies, bass lines, drum kit, pads etc

Have to say since they added it, I like the one built into Cubase. Might not help you if you don't own Cubase of course, but that was a really nice addition.
Don't trust those with words of weakness, they are the most aggressive
