Company is in disarray after the lead developer / programmer publicly stated (here, elsewhere, and even in emails sent out to all 2Caudio users) that Andrew, the business-side of the company, stopped paying him. To an outsider it doesn't look worth taking sides / digging deeper -- it's just clearly an absolute mess, with two individuals who worked together for years now apparently operating as Bitter Enemies. No idea what it all means for 2C as a business. It's certainly been very, very awkward for everybody, including users (getting 'hey, you should know I'm not getting paid' emails from a company I've purchased from is....pretty wack). Things got more awkward when said guy then tried to explain (very poorly, at that) why he couldn't take legal action. That was here, at KVR, but then the thread got locked...just as well.

I haven't ever bought anything from 2CA so this passed me by totally. But Kaleidoscope always looked very interesting to me

+1
Kind of like your weird obscure Pedals inside the Box. Really highly recommended; if you're into Ambient stuff, check his Site for a neat Bundle - Sale.

Having almost all of them, its really hard to tell. Normally I just went listening to the examples in the vids and then decided. The Ambient - Bundle is very good, if you are into such kind of sonic playgrounds.

Yeah, back when i demoed it it ate my machine. Had to freeze everything and even then it was barely workable. Cool idea, similar to Reaktor Prism which i really like.zerocrossing wrote: Fri May 06, 2022 1:38 pmI’m totally unaware. I really like B2, but that’s all I own from them. I tried Kaleidoscope and I was unable to get it to run well, even with my current machine, which is pretty great. I need something that can run in real time on a 128 sample size buffer.CrystalWizard wrote: Fri May 06, 2022 6:25 amI think he means the major rift at 2C Audio.zerocrossing wrote: Thu May 05, 2022 1:35 pmPolitical pain? Coupled with Patchpool's libraries and there are some amazing possibilities with it.

Best place to find weird stuff is def the Reaktor UL if you have Reaktor. Max is also amazing, you don't need Ableton to use Max.
