long time since ive battled tbh.
they get a bit heavy for my aches.
but yup, used to do sword fighting displays at fetes and fairs.
had a small collection of broadswords but they went many years ago.

Furthermore, I definitely think there are limiters better geared towards working in louder domains.
There are 2 ways to understand what you said. In louder domains - meaning on higher dbFs' - so a limiter working higher. Or the one that gives more gain reduction.

If it's the first one - it doesnt matter when do you start to limit, that is not the thing, so it leads to the 2nd option. Meaning you're looking for more gain reduction. And that leads to all the answers you've got here.

To be fair, I'd suggest barricade or TDR Limiter no6. They work great. But as I suggested earlier, its all better done in the mix.
