I just picked one up as Korg has slashed the price (I paid £350 from Juno, UK). Good to see a few people making 'logue units for machine now...more please, user base will grow at the new price!

Thanks for sharing. That is so good!! I might look out for one myself, looks like it would be a lot of fun and sounds great.

I love that there are user codable extensiona in some of these korg instruments, for oscillators etc, this seems even more powerful. Hopefully they stick with this it really adds to any devices that can load these!

I'm going to bounce this thread because now its on sale on reverb for $299 - I totally ordered mine! I am sure I will enjoy, anyone else looking into this?

Likewise! I had a saved search set up for a few months watching for used ones, and they rarely ever dipped below $400, which I was not willing to pay. But I just randomly caught the Korg Outlet one for $300 new the other day, and ordered one (although it hasn't shipped yet).

I have been wanting one for a while. I doubt it's going to rock my world, but it should be a fun little machine for generating new drum sounds, and I doubt the resale value will ever dip below $300 again, so there's really not much to lose.

Personally, I think this is going to be an instrument in high demand in a few years once the dust has settled on the utter lack of hype Korg managed to generate. It has a lot of cool stuff going on. A "future classic" if you will.

I guess it would be nice to post a link to the sale in question: https://reverb.com/item/69890766-korg-drumlogue

Waiting for the price to drop here in the UK, and I may consider it.

Just wanted to post my little demo I made, just wanted to show it can be totally wild if you run through the "boost fx" on the master. You may not have heard this side of the drumlogue but man to me sounds crazy good for $299. I am loving it!

For 299 that's definitely closer to something worth considering, but this demo still just sounds to me like a guitar distortion pedal on the drum bus. It may sound "wild", but material like this starts losing its appeal quickly when you actually want to make a track instead of just solo jamming in your basement for youtube synth nerds. Getting other things to fit into a mix with this stuff is going to be a horrible experience. There's also zero punch in the example, it's all just distorted mush.

It's "cool" but not actually very useful (in most cases). IMO a good drum machine doesn't need a huge distortion effect on the master to make it sound good.

Just my 2c.

Still over 450 Euro at Thomann.
I wonder why.
