You get what you pay for.
I will take the Lord's name in vain, whenever I want. Hail Satan! And his little goblins too.

Melodyne 5 has dessing tools (siblant handling) that are a balance between automatic tools (spectral filters, dynamic EQ) which I don't find ideal and manual (cutting and balancing in a DAW) which is more time consuming. It automatically identifies the siblances and you can select all and reduce a lot of them at a time. It also doesn't repitch the silblances if you pitch correct the actual pitch content of the note. It keeps the siblances that remain sounding natural.

If you already own Melodyne 5 (anything above Essential) you've got these tools already. Not my video but beats typing for two hours.

I picked up essentials for $10 here in the marketplace and upgraded to Melodyne Assistant when on sale. Plugin Boutique has the upgrade on for $69.00. Nice number and of course you get Melodyne with all the other pitch and amplitube tools it brings. To me this is the best value out there. Anyone want to buy my Eiosis e2 desser? https://www.pluginboutique.com/product/ ... -Essential

I always disable melodyne sibilance. It f**ks up pitch shifts on airy/raspy vocals so much

I’ve not experienced this in version 5 .it wasn’t great in prior versions.

I found this deal to be of value: a de-esser, given away for free during Black Friday, look no further: HoRNet Sybilla: an "intelligent de-esser" that automatically finds the right frequencies
https://www.hornetplugins.com/plugins/hornet-sybilla/

PS: almost 24 hour remains before this deal ends

Thank you for the suggestion, but I am unimpressed by it. Let me explain:

1. Playing the short clip in WaveLab, plugin picks-up sibilance only every 2nd time.
2. Crashed the host app twice.
