Guitar multi effects for synthesizer

Something else to consider (which I just ordered online) is the Roland SP-404 MkII, unless you already have it. It of course contains dozens of industry standard effects (although geared toward lofi hip hop) as well as a decent sampler.

I had one for a short while that I took on trade for something worth far less. I played around with it an hour or so and quickly decided that it didn’t offer me anything more than I wanted from my Elektrons, so I flipped it for a nice profit. I never even considered using it as an effects box, though.

But does it chromatically play multisamples with loops like the old school samplers did?
