Hope the Synplant and the Synplant 2 plugins exist side by side on my system or the existing Songs get corrupt?
Or does the Version 2 work as version 1 in an existing song?

One of the really mystic "it will never happen" things.
If this comes true i also believe Zebra 3 comes one day really too.
There is not much i would buy these days but Synthplant 2 is one for sure.
First i thought it is already the first of April but it seems it is for real

Exciting news and to make it even more exciting I think we should have a little contest to guess when it will be released. I actually think this should be a regular KvR thing for all products because just the waiting isn't much fun. Winner gets a personalized contempt-filled angry rant video message from BONES.

I thought you were referring to Synplant and Phase Plant, since the latter was recently updated with a new granular sampler.

Microtonic 2 was released 18 years ago , we're at 3.3.4 now

BUt yeah , the synthesis engine remained the same throughout the years
