Analog Lab Play is a free software intended for users that are not familiar with Arturia sounds and want to try it.
As an Analog Lab Intro user, you already have a more complete version of Analog Lab.

Here is a comparison chart between all Analog Lab versions:

I heard back from Arturia on some of the suggestions we've had and it's sorta hopeful, they said having permanent buttons for the different views on the top header was a "good idea". Here's hoping.

Also they said that the logic of browsing patches on the Main pane was to follow whatever attributes are set in the Explore page. So if you set Bass as Type and Acid as Style, the Main pane will just cycle through those results. That's good - ultimately if they could add one more carousel on the main page and lock icons, it would be handy.

Analog Lab Pro could benefit from better FX. An obvious choice would be to add their FX Collection inside Analog Lab Pro.

As long as Arturia dev's can keep it stable, and fast this would be a super welcome addition. I'm working on soundbanks for it, and while I do love alot of what it has, their FX Collection are spectacular. Especially the new exciter , this would be great to have this inside Analog Lab.

Also I think it's time to open the instrument up for for Multi instrument control. I'd love to see the 2 slot, go to 4 slot Multi's.

No just their own launcher

Someone mentioned RAM usage is bad in their plugins. I don't use many of their plugins all at once in project anyway so I don't mind it actually. I usually use 1 or 2 of them, and then others such as u-he or Synthmaster along with those.

Anyway, I have the V Collection and loaded up the standalone Mini v3, and afterward, the same Mini preset within Analog Lab Pro. I noticed the standalone of Mini v3 was about 115 megs or so, but the same preset in Pro was nearly 3 times the RAM usage. Not sure why it would be so much more, so I thought it was kind of strange.

I fired up Analog Lab; and I also saw that it got a visual upgrade but didn't think I would have said upgrade for myself since I own V Collection 9. I thought for some reason I was going to need V Collection X to receive it for some reason. So I'm guessing that having any Analog Lab from whatever Collection version will be up date? That I can see, but it's also interesting that I am able to use presets that utilize synths from V Collection X. Safe to assume that Analog Lab Pro even if not contained within the newest version of V Collection will stay up to date with all available additions?

Yes it will stay up to date with it's own presets that also include synths added in v collection X. Since you have V Collection 9 also its presets, and the ability to access the relevant full synths to edit them, are available directly on analog lab.
