I had never really checked out Vacuum Pro because the interface sort of turned me off. (I'm so glad for flatter, non-skeuomorphic interfaces these days.) But despite the somewhat garrish, non-resizable interface, Vacuum Pro is actually pretty neat and sounds pretty good (although not analog at all, at least to me). The synth engine isn't half bad. And the dual layer architecture is fairly powerful.
Hopefully InMusic will actually update these older AIR plugins to have newer, resizable interfaces. What's great about most of these older AIR plugins is the large number of mostly excellent presets that come with each plugin. The newer AIR instruments are not so generous from what I can tell.

Yeah it is super disappointing.Smasha wrote: Mon Dec 16, 2024 9:21 pm Transfuser's presets ,some of them don't work.
And it crashes,alot.
There are MANY issues with the updates, especially on Windows within both Maschine and Komplete Kontrol. I cannot believe they are asking $170+ USD for these plugins, I bought most of them a decade ago for like $1 each at the time
Transfuser especially is buggy as hell. Clicking the drum loop presets for instance, most are "corrupt" playing just for half a second then glitching out and causing a crash. Switch presets causes a crash. It is in no way a usable plugin.
WHat is terrible is much of this I reported (assuming along with others too) during the beta testing, I sent at least 4 different reports, videos, steps to produce and again, have sent another report with additional issues and in the last 12 months to date I have received exactly zero replies or acknowledgements for any of these.
Seems to me there is no actual intention to fix or improve these, just m,ake them work enough to be sellable and make as much as can be made from their sales. Shame as I could never deploy these in any project now, even the VST2 version is just as buggy. Have had to roll back to the old versions which still work fine, only just in VST2.

Holy shit! Did they actually release the betas as they were???
I reported TONS of crashes, specifically for Transfuser.
Damn.. were do I find the old VST2 version installers?

After a long time, I visited the Air Music website and was really happy when I could download the new version of Transfuser 2. Soon my joy turned into disappointment when I discovered that many drum files do not work. This plugin is incredibly beautiful... I do not understand why Air does not listen to its numerous customers who ask to update this wonderful machine! I hope that soon some other software-house will produce a similar plugin and give it all the attention it deserves.
